QMD Platform Redesign
Rebuilding the plane while flying it. A ground-up redesign of the entire platform’s UI and UX, strategically phased so we could ship it incrementally without interrupting normal product roadmap work. The team continued delivering new features on schedule while systematically rebuilding every surface underneath them.
Replaced the entire patient app and half the provider app before departure:
Patient app: Onboarding (first booking, account registration, email/phone/ID verification), dashboard, booking flow, video visit flow, post-visit summary, patient chart (care history, prescription details, profile), prescription reordering with shipping methods, live chat support throughout.
Provider app: Reimagined dashboard for managing back-to-back telehealth calls with better tracking of pending, missed, and failed visits. Redesigned the visit screen to support AI-enhanced visit note authorship, patient history, and prescription ordering — all while keeping the patient’s video visible for constant engagement. Replaced a previous design where any action blocked the patient video.
